For thirty years, Ralph has been the bad guy in his video game. For once, he just wants to be accepted and liked. To prove he is a good person and not just a fiend, he embarks on a bold adventure between all types of games, making both friends and enemies. He soon leads an evil enemy into their world, and must team up with his friends to stop it.
I really enjoyed watching Wreck-It Ralph, with its cute jokes and interesting plot twists. I would give it a 9 out of 10 rating. I think all kids could watch this movie. The humor was clean, and so was
the language. The little violence it had was minimal, and it wasn't
graphic.
Detail was definitely paid attention to. The video game's characters took on jerky movements, similar to those found in old games, which I thought was pretty cool. There were also many real-life video game references too, such as a mushroom from Super Mario and actual characters from real games such as Bowser, Q*bert, Pac-Man, and Frogger.
If you're looking for a cute movie to watch with your family, I would definitely recommend Wreck-It Ralph. It was better than any animated family movie I've seen in a while.
